My Summer Themed ATC's

I am sure that I have mentioned Crop Chocolate on here before.  ♥ that site!  Well, there is an ATC swap that some of us do that is a lot of fun.  My first ever ATC's were for the Spring themed swap.  The ATC's pictured are for the next swap that is Summer themed.  
If you are not familiar with what an ATC is, it is an Artist Trading Card.  Your own little piece of art to share and trade with your fellow scrapbookers, stampers or paper crafters.   They only measure 2.5"x3.5" so there is not a lot of space but I have seen some amazing cards out there.  Truly little works of art.  Now mine are no where near little works of art but rather mini scrapbook layouts without the photos.  I enjoy making them and look forward to seeing what everyones take will be for the theme.

Time Still Getting Away From Me...

I cannot believe that Skyler will be FOUR years old on the 7th! Where have the past four years gone? It seems like it was just yesterday that I held him in my arms for the first time. He was and still is the cutest little thing. He was a snuggler when he was a little baby and even now when he gets sleepy he wants to snuggle close. I love that and I hope I can keep that part for a bit longer. He acts like such a big boy most of the time. I enjoy bedtime because that is the only time that he snuggles up to me when I am reading his favorite bedtime stories. He still loves the "I Love You" book. I have been reading that book to him since the very first time he spent the night with Memaw & Popaw. He was only a few weeks old then. He knows the book by heart now and that makes me smile. He has a whole pile of books that we read but there a just a few that are his favorites. We usually have to read three books before he is ready to go to sleep. I am ok with that though. I know that it won't be long until he is reading them on his own and won't need me at bedtime anymore. I am going to cherish every moment until then.
